If you run a Shopify store, CawCut Ad Video can turn a product page into a short ad. First make the page clear and complete, then add the link, define the message, review the creative, and generate the video.
1. Add Your Shopify Product
- Open [Ad Video].
- Paste the public Shopify product-page URL into the link field.
- Click [Analyze URL].
CawCut collects visible product details, images, variants, price, store branding, and selling points from the page.
If you do not have a usable product link, select [Add Product Manually] and enter the product information yourself.
Before adding the link, optimize the product page so CawCut can use the most relevant information:
- Use a specific product title and a concise description that states the main benefit, materials or specifications, size, and intended use.
- Put important details in visible page text, not only in images, videos, or collapsible sections. Use descriptive image alt text for accessibility and search.
- Add clear product media: one strong main image, supporting detail or use images, and variant images where relevant. Remove unrelated or duplicate media.
- Keep variants, price, availability, shipping, returns, promotions, and product disclosures current.
Shopify’s product details guidance and AI optimization guidance cover these page-content practices in more detail.
Then review the imported details:
- Correct the [Product Name] and [Description] if needed.
- Choose a clear [Primary Image] and supporting images that match the current product page.
- Check variants, price, inventory, shipping, returns, and promotion claims.
- Select one selling point as the main focus of the ad.
For more details about the workflow, see Create Ad Video. You can also organize product content with the Product Node.
2. Tell CawCut What to Advertise
Choose one main benefit, target audience, use case, brand tone, and accurate product claims. Keep the ad focused on one product story that fits your store.
Use the information you control in Shopify to guide the ad:
- Product pages: Lead with the clearest benefit and the strongest product image.
- Variants: Mention a size, color, or configuration only when it is available and shown in the selected media.
- Bundles and offers: Make the contents, price, eligibility, inventory, and end date clear.
- Brand: Match your store’s voice, visual style, logo, and call to action.
If the ad mentions a discount, bundle, free shipping, or limited-time offer, check the price, eligibility, inventory, shipping, and end date.
Configure the video for its destination:
- Choose the destination [Platform] and aspect ratio.
- Select the [Resolution] and a [10s] or [15s] duration.
- Choose [Product Showcase], [Product with Voiceover], or [Talking Video].
- Set the [Language] and enable [Captions] when needed.
- Select a storyboard style, then click [Continue].
Review the generated ideas and choose one concept built around the selected selling point. If needed, select [Use your own idea] and describe the product, brand setting, audience, benefit, and end card.
3. Review the Script and Storyboard
Before generating, confirm that the product information, selling point, story, shots, and brand voice match the current product page. Check the product name, variants, features, price, promotions, claims, and spoken lines. Edit the script if needed; see Mastering Ad Scripts.
If you generate a storyboard, check the shot order, lighting, product presentation, logo, and end card. Make sure every detail matches the current page.
4. Generate a Preview and Final Video
Use the storyboard to check the story, timing, product presentation, and brand style before generating the final video. Then:
- Confirm the final script and storyboard, if you created one.
- Generate a 480P preview first.
- If the direction works, choose your preferred model and resolution, then generate the final version.
- Preview the completed video on the [Video] step and check the visuals, timing, captions, voiceover, product details, branding, and promotion before publishing.
Fix problems in the storyboard or preview before switching to a higher model or resolution. This preview-first workflow helps reduce unnecessary credit use.
4.1 Fine-Tune or Customize the Ad Video
- Fine-tune the video: Use VN Video Editor to adjust timing, captions, music, transitions, and other details.
- Localize the ad: Select the target [Language] in the CawCut Ad Video settings before generating, then review the translated product name, claims, promotion details, brand language, and spoken lines. For simple localization after generation, create the video without voiceover and use VN to add localized text, captions, or text-to-speech narration. See the VN Text to Speech and Caption guide.
- Customize the generation: Use a customized CawCut Workflow to organize product content, brand prompts, creative settings, and generation steps more precisely.
