If you run a local business, CawCut Ad Video can turn your Google Maps listing into a short promotion video. Prepare your Business Profile, add the Maps link, define the customer-facing message, review the creative, and generate the video.

1. Add Your Google Maps Business

  1. Open [Ad Video].
  2. Paste the Google Maps business or place URL into the link field.
  3. Click [Analyze URL].

CawCut collects visible business details, photos, category, location information, and selling points from the Maps listing.

If you do not have a usable Google Maps link, select [Add Product Manually] and enter the business information yourself.

Before adding the link, keep the Business Profile complete and current. Google recommends accurate business information and category-specific photos; see its photo guidance and Business Profile overview.

  • Correct the business name and description if needed.
  • Choose a clear [Primary Image] that identifies the location or customer experience, then add supporting images of the storefront, exterior design, entrance, nearby streets or landmarks, interior, services, products, or atmosphere. Use these images to help customers recognize and reach the business.
  • Check the address, hours, phone number, services, ratings, and claims.
  • Select one customer benefit as the main focus of the video.

You can also add a limited-time offer or event. Check time-sensitive details before publishing.

Use the images that fit your business:

  • Retail store: Show the storefront, exterior design, nearby landmarks, interior, popular products, and how customers can find you.
  • Restaurant or café: Show the entrance, nearby surroundings, atmosphere, signature food or drinks, menu highlights, and dining experience.
  • Salon, nail salon, or spa: Show the space, service setup, tools, finished work, and booking information without exposing customers’ private information.
  • Other local services: Show the place, team, service in progress, and the result customers can expect.

For more details about the complete content-to-video workflow, see Create Ad Video. You can also organize business content in a node-based workflow with the Product Node.

2. Tell CawCut What to Promote

Choose one reason to visit and provide the target audience, customer need, location context, tone, and accurate claims. Focus on one local customer story.

Match the message to the business:

  • Retail: Highlight a product range, new collection, in-store experience, or convenient location.
  • Restaurant or café: Highlight a signature dish, atmosphere, occasion, takeaway option, or location.
  • Salon, nail salon, or spa: Highlight a service, result, atmosphere, or booking experience.
  • Other services: Highlight the customer problem, service, local convenience, or expected result.

If the video mentions an offer, event, price, date, availability, or opening hour, check that it is current.

Configure the video for its destination:

  • Choose the destination [Platform] and aspect ratio.
  • Select the [Resolution] and a [10s] or [15s] duration.
  • Choose [Product Showcase], [Product with Voiceover], or [Talking Video].
  • Set the [Language] and enable [Captions] when needed.
  • Select a storyboard style, then click [Continue].

Review the generated ideas and choose one concept built around the selected benefit. Keep it to one audience, one reason to visit, and one call to action.

If none of the suggestions fits, select [Use your own idea] and describe the customer, location, service or product, benefit, and end-card message. Keep the concept simple enough to fit the selected duration.

3. Review the Script and Storyboard

Before generating, confirm that the business information, selected benefit, story, shots, and call to action match the profile and campaign goal. Check the business name, services, address, hours, prices, promotions, claims, and spoken lines. Edit the script if needed; see Mastering Ad Scripts.

Make sure the script matches the business:

  • Retail: Verify the product range, featured items, store location, and offer.
  • Restaurant or café: Verify menu items, ingredients or dietary claims, prices, hours, and dining or takeaway details.
  • Salon, nail salon, or spa: Verify the service, duration, price, booking method, and result shown.
  • Other services: Verify the service area, qualifications, availability, and promised result.

If you generate a storyboard, check the shot order, lighting, signage, location context, and customer experience. Make sure every scene reflects the real business.

4. Generate a Preview and Final Video

Use the storyboard to check the story, timing, business presentation, and visual style before generating the final video. Then:

  1. Confirm the final script and storyboard, if you created one.
  2. Generate a 480P preview first.
  3. If the direction works, choose your preferred model and resolution, then generate the final version.
  4. Preview the completed video on the [Video] step and check the visuals, timing, captions, voiceover, business details, location, and promotion before publishing.

Fix problems in the storyboard or preview before switching to a higher model or resolution. This preview-first workflow helps reduce unnecessary credit use.

4.1 Fine-Tune or Localize the Business Video

  • Fine-tune the video: Use VN Video Editor to adjust timing, captions, music, transitions, and other details.
  • Localize the video: Select the target [Language] in the CawCut Ad Video settings before generating, then review the translated business name, services, location details, promotion, and spoken lines. For simple localization after generation, create the video without voiceover and use VN to add localized text, captions, or text-to-speech narration. See the VN Text to Speech and Caption guide.
  • Customize the generation: Use a customized CawCut Workflow to organize business content, prompts, creative settings, and generation steps more precisely.
